*Know how to interpret the tests: Many band patterns have more than one interpretation – some conclusions are likely, others are less likely (but possible) – it is important to recognise this
*Understand your test: Know the strengths and weaknesses of the antibodies used in your test, not all RDT tests are the same!
*RDT and microscopy ore commentary tests with strengths and weaknesses: If you are using them together then understand their individual merits
